    1.1 Product Overview
    VHx43PRO is one kind of product which is updated with software and hardware functions from old model VHx43; the functions of product is rich, which has added with mature video monitoring function, wireless 4G/WIFI communication, remote data update function and reliable industrial-grade file storage system, and also supports two kinds of mounting ways (bracket type and horizontal type).
    This product hardware adapts to complex vehicle environment from power processing (8~50V), embedded CPU selection, speech decoding amplifier, GPS positioning and other aspects, which can guarantee long-term reliable operation.
    The system is a real-time multi-task Linux system, and the UI is independently developed according to the application environment. The algorithm is scientific and overall operation is convenient. Reliable use and usability goes ahead the industry products of the same type. It can start up within 15 seconds and enter normal working mode.
    1.2 Product Characteristic
    VHx43P bus stop reporter adopts advanced technologies such as GPS/ Beidou global satellite positioning, MP3 decoding, etc., realizing functions such as automatic reporting station name, service word broadcasting and integral point announce as the bus gets in and departures;
    VHx43P uses wireless communication technology, which can realize the functions of scheduling, video monitoring and driver attendance, etc.
    In addition, this product is equipped with RS232/RS485 communication interface, which perfectly supports all kinds of LED road signs, card swiping devices, loudspeakers, video monitoring, intercom and other on-board devices;

    2.3 Menu Function Description
     
    Main Menu Diagram
      It is used to collect and record coordinate information, collect GPS positioning data every time [MENU] is pressed, up to 200 times can be collected. The site will be updated in real time after the collection is completed.
      It is used to switch different routes and select the corresponding routes of vehicles.
      Settings, such as internal and external volume, voice volume, English broadcast, dialect broadcast, voice broadcast, speeding broadcast, station broadcast, ACC detection, line attribute, angle judgment, etc. can be performed.
      Network IP address, device ID, server IP can be set.

    3.1 Manual Broadcasting
    After the bus gets in station, press [Station Broadcasting] button to report the current station displayed with corresponding getting-in voice; as the bus departures, press [Station Broadcasting] button again to report the current station displayed with corresponding departure voice and proceed to next station automatically. If the station broadcasting doesn’t match with actual station information, press UP/DOWN button for adjustment to make the station broadcasting accurate.
    Press [Repeat] button to broadcast the previous voice repeatedly. After the bus reaches terminal, press [Switch] button to switch UP/DOWN line. If necessary, press the corresponding number key to broadcast the corresponding service words currently equipped. To stop the current broadcast, press [Stop] button.

      3.2 GPS Automatic Station Report
      It is not necessary to switch line for GPS automatic station report. After the corresponding line is selected, if the collected station coordinate is accurate, reporter will broadcast the corresponding station voice after the bust gets in station. If there is deviation between displayed station and actual station or there is partway wrong operation, the reporter will update the correct station information based on the comparison of front and rear stations. The function of corresponding button is the same as that of manual broadcasting.
      3.3 Service Voice Broadcasting
      The station reporter can be set with 10 service voices. By selecting the 0-9 number buttons on the right side of the panel, the corresponding service voice in the configuration file can be played.

    Press the square [MENU] button in the center of four direction buttons, enter the password 888888 and press the [MENU] button to enter the main menu interface.
    4.1 Station Report Setting and Volume Setting
    Enter menu screen to select system setting option and press [MENU] button.

    Definition: 
     Adjust the broadcasting volume from station reporter with invalid adjustment range of 0-32.
      Set the options (such as dialect broadcasting, outside voice broadcasting, etc.) as needed. Set the over-speed reminder broadcasting and departure broadcasting.
     Set the over-speed limit, angle judgment, ACC detection.
    Definition operation:
     To adjust the volume, press the direction button to move the cursor to the inside and outside volume, press the [Stop] button to clear the number, and then adjust the volume through the digital button.
     Press [Switch] to set the dialect broadcasting, outside voice broadcasting and ACC detection, etc.
     Press the direction button to move the cursor to over-speed setting. Press [Stop] button to clear the numbers. Then set the over-speed setting by number buttons.
    After every setting is completed and confirmed, select for saving and press [MENU] button. To exit, press [Exit] button.

    Select the line option in main menu and press [MENU] button to enter the line selection screen.

    After entering the line selection screen, move the cursor to the selected line as required and press [MENU] button to switch the line.
    7.3 Latitude and Longitude Collection
    1. Connect the GPS antenna before you collect the latitude and longitude. The device will search for GPS signal after starting up for a period of time (signal searching needs a longer time for the first time, which will take about 1 minute. Positioning for the first time after starting up will be able to quickly find a GPS signal). After the success of GPS location, corresponding main screen on GPS will show "Connected".
    2. After successful positioning, select the coordinate collection option in main MENU screen and press [MENU] to enter the coordinate collection MENU. The following screen will appear:

    3. Move button up and down to press [MENU] button to collect corresponding station information and automatically save it to the corresponding form, and the cursor will automatically jump to the next station. If error is discovered during collection, move the cursor to the corresponding number to collect the latitude and longitude to override the previous. After the collection is completed, press [Exit] button to return to the previous menu.
    4. Select the line after the completion of line collection to see the corresponding latitude and longitude information.
    4.4 Network Setting
    Select the network setting in main MENU screen and press [MENU] button to enter the network settings screen.

    Select the corresponding operation by moving up and down the left and right buttons. Server IP, port number, device ID, company ID and other operations can be changed. After modification, press [MENU] button to save and press [Exit] button to exit.



    5. File Editing Rules
    5.1 File Importing, Exporting and Application Updating
    Press [*] button on device to enter quick action screen. Then move UP/DOWN button to select the corresponding operation.

    Import SD card/U disk file: Insert the prepared SD card/U disk of file into device. Press [MENU] button to import file. The device can copy file automatically and will restart up automatically after operation is completed. Wait until the screen restores normal, which indicates that the file is imported successfully.
    Export coordinate file to SD card/U disk file: Use every coordinate collected from coordinate screen to create coordinate file. Press [MENU] button to export file. The device will export the file to the root directory or U disk directory of SD. This process takes about 10 seconds. When the export is shown successfully, you can pull out SD card or U disk. The coordinate file exporting is completed.
    Export whole file to SD card/U disk file: Press [MENU] button to export file, which can export file under root directory of device to SD card/U disk. File includes: collected coordinate, file name, mp3 file and some configuration files. When the export is shown successfully, you can pull out SD card or U disk. The whole file exporting is completed.
    Application updating: Place the applications (vh43-01) to be updated under root directory SD card/U disk or under directory of system, then insert SD card into SD port of station reporter. Select “Application Updating”, press [MENU] for confirmation. The updating process will take about 10 seconds and main screen will display on device. Pull out the SD card to complete the operation. The system format of U disk or SD card is FAT32. After the updating is completed, check if the version number has some changes.


    5.2 Classification Description for Main File
    When you export whole files like this.   
    Please change name“output”to“media”,then open“media”,create a new folder “data”,remove “bus”and “system”file to “data”,then you can updata.
    Updata files:      
    The following is device file framework and all files can only be established in this directory framework, in which the files can be arranged by themselves. There are several files under every directory and the main file forms are .csv and mp3. They are stored from level 1 to level 5. The following are the main files under device directory: 

     First level directory
    The media file is under root directory which stores all device files.
     Second level directory
    The date and mp3 files are under media directory which individually store line data and voice file;
     Third level directory
    The voice files are under mp3 directory;
      Third level directory
    The bus and system files are under data directory, which individually store line information and configuration file;
      Fourth level directory
    The 555, line.csv, station.csv files are under bus directory, which individually store the up and down forms, line configuration information and station information of lines;
      Fourth level directory
    The audiolist.csv, option.bin files are under system directory, which individually store the voice sequence choreography forms, system configuration files, and event messages;
     Fifth level directory
    The up line and down line forms are under 555 directory.
    Detailed description for above files:
    The mp3 directory is used to store all the voice files that need to be broadcasted, and the device will broadcast the voice files in the mp3 in the configured voice name and order when broadcasting.
    The system directory stores three configuration files
    Audiolist.csv: It is used to arrange the voice broadcast order and content by itself, so as to facilitate customized broadcasting by customers. As shown below, the voice broadcast order of each place can be arranged according to the requirements of customers in the application. One of the special contents is variable content, which varies according to the line or station content:
      Line name: mp3 file of current running line name
      Starting station: starting station in current line direction
      Ending station: ending station in current line direction
      Passing station: passing station that needs to be broadcasted in current line direction (in line form, set large station in attribute settings, which will broadcast as approaching those large stations)
      Next station: next station name during running
      Getting-in station extension: The getting-in station extension voice name configured in the line table
      Departing station extension: The departing station extension voice name configured in the line table
      Getting-in station hint: The getting-in station hint voice name configured in the line table
      Departing station hint: The departing station hint voice name configured in the line table
      Getting-in station advertisement: The getting-in station advertisement voice name configured in the line table
      Departing station advertisement: The departing station advertisement voice name configured in the line table
    Other content is the name of voice file under the corresponding mp3 folder with fixed broadcast. According to the actual needs, only self-combination is ok.
     
    option.bin: They are system configuration files. By importing the configuration file to batch change system general configuration, don't place the file in ordinary import file U disk or SD card, so as to prevent changes from previous setting.
    There are three kinds of files line information file, line configuration and station information under bus directory
     
    Line information file: There are two kinds of files: UP line and Down line
    The following figures are included in 116 files:
     
    For folder which is named after the line name in lin.csv, there are up and down files of this line which is as shown in following figure:
     Station number: increase from 0 by itself within a range of 0-200


      Station report voice: station voice name on line
      Station name: station name on line
      Longitude, latitude and angle are automatically filled in after GPS coordinates are collected
    Also, it can add or modify one line (refer to 5.4.1 Adding one line)
     
    line.csv is the line configuration information that needs to be loaded for this device.
      Number: It needs to increase in order from 0 by itself
      System number: The corresponding number of the line set by the system shall be all numbers.
      Current line: Fill in the corresponding attribute of current line and there are three types: up/down running line, loop line and running line from opposite directions
      Up/down running line: The attribute is the normal back and forth line, which can calibrate the device current running direction according to angle and coordinate when the device is running. The up/down running line can be switched automatically as the bus reaches ending station.
      Loop line: This property for the similar circle lines, with starting station and ending station in the same place. The vehicle will be always in a forward or reverse direction regardless of up or down running. The driving direction reported to the platform will be the up running all the time.
      Running line from opposite directions: This attribute is one kind of loop line, but the bus will drive in forward direction or reverse direction. The device will command the driver according to the platform to keep up or down driving. At the terminal station, the up and down driving will not be automatically switched, and the driving direction reported to the platform will be the current switching direction.
      The departure station of line change is filled in starting station number and ending station number. This device can inquire the station form to gain coordinate which can be used to judge the device in-out station condition which is then reported to platform to complete the process.
     
    station.csv is the station information
      No.: It needs to increase in order from 0 by itself
      Station sn: The number of station corresponding to the platform
      Station name: Current station name
      The station coordinate of vehicle stop point during stopover at longitude and latitude, and the coordinate format require the degree division format of device. The range of station is centered on the coordinate point, the range value is the radius, the entry range is the getting-in station, and the departure range is the exit station.
     
    5.3 bus led destination sign of Bus Stop announcer Play List for Audio Files
    Audiolist.csv is a practical and easy to use design in the device. VHx43P users can change the broadcast order of the station voice by modifying the table file.
    The play list of voice from device is clearer, and the operation is more convenient. It will bring more flexible use methods to customers, which has improved greatly in the user experience. Through the form, we can more clearly understand the order of the voice broadcast and classification. To add or modify broadcast content, only find the corresponding audio files in mp3 directory and replace it, then copy the replaced file to VHx43P equipment with U disk to complete the operation.
    It must be noted that a complete voice must not exceed fifteen phonetic contents at most.
     
    Description:
      Starting station broadcast: The device broadcasts from the starting place of line. Broadcasting order is from content 1 to content 12 with one voice at a time
      Ending station broadcast: The device broadcasts at ending place of line. Broadcasting order is from content 1 to content 7 with one voice at a time
      Terminal forecast: The device broadcasts as vehicle getting in ending station. Broadcasting order is from content 1 to content 7 with one voice at a time
      Getting-in broadcast: The device broadcasts each time the vehicle gets in station. Broadcasting order is from content 1 to content 6 with one voice at a time
      Departure broadcast: The device broadcasts each time the vehicle departs from station. Broadcasting order is from content 1 to content 7 with one voice at a time
      Outside sound of getting-in station: To make the passengers outside the car hear the broadcast, the device broadcasts as the vehicle enters the station. Broadcasting order is from content 1 to content 5 with one voice at a time
      Outside sound of departure station: Select the broadcasting by No to disable the broadcasting.
    5.3.1 Adding line
    Add one line: 102
    Under the bus directory, the new folder is named "102". In 102 file, the new files "102S. CSV" and "102X. CSV" are created, and the tables "102S. CSV" and "102X. CSV" are edited.
    Starting from 0 under the station number, up to 200 stations can be stored on a single line and the corresponding stations can be filled in accordingly. The voice field of the station shall fill in the corresponding voice file name of the station and shall have the same name as the corresponding voice file. The longitude, latitude and angle are automatically filled after the GPS module collects the coordinates. If you need to add the getting-in voice file and extended voice file, you can write the corresponding voice name under the getting-in voice column and the extended voice column. Under the big station column, input Yes or No to set up the big station in the line. The big station will broadcast in the voice of starting station. Set whether the tone is ON or OFF under the outside sound column.
    Put the line name audio (102.mp3) of this station under the mp3 directory. Open the "line.csv" file under the bus directory and add the number to get the station number and name. Add the station coordinates of vehicle stop point during stopover under the column of longitude and latitude, and the coordinate format requires the degree division format of device. The range of station is centered on the coordinate point, the range value is the radius, the entry range is the getting-in station, and the departure range is the exit station. This completes the addition of a line.
    5.3.2 Adding advertisement broadcasting
    Add an advertisement: adv.mp3
    Prepare the advertisement audio file of “adv.mp3” and add it under mp3 directory. Open “102S.csv” and ” 102X.csv” files under folder 102 and add “adv” under getting-in advertisement and departure advertisement column, which should be the same as the corresponding voice file. The “audiolist.csv” file under system directory should replace the content with “getting-in advertisement or departure advertisement”.
    5.3.3 Adding guiding words broadcasting
    Add on guiding voice: hint .mp3
    Prepare the advertisement audio file of “hint .mp3” and add it under MP3 file. Open “102S.csv” and ” 102X.csv” files under folder 102 and add “NOTICE” under getting-in guiding and departure guiding voice column, which should be the same as the corresponding voice file. The “audiolist.csv” file under system directory should replace the content with “getting-in guiding or departure guiding”.
    5.3.4 Adding extended words broadcasting
    Add on extended words voice: extend.mp3
    Prepare the advertisement audio file of “extend.mp3” and add it under MP3 file. Open “102S.csv” and ” 102X.csv” files under folder 102 and add “EXPAND” under getting-in extended and departure extended voice column, which should be the same as the corresponding voice file. The “audiolist.csv” file under system directory should replace the content with “getting-in extended or departure extended”.

      The equipment installed on the plane should keep a certain distance from other objects to facilitate the circulation and heat dissipation of cold air;
      When cleaning the surface of the system, please use the cleaner permitted by electronic equipment. Do not use chemical solvent or household cleaner.
      If the machine is not used for a long time, it is better to disconnect the power completely to extend the service life.
      GPS antennas and communication antennas must be placed in open, unobstructed areas. It is recommended to be installed above the dashboard, i.e. the lower left side of front windshield.
    The following situations should be discussed in advance when selecting the installation site:
      Circuit: Only the proper power supply can be connected and the ground wire to the vehicle can be ensured;
      Humidity: Avoid all parts of the system from contacting with moist environment;
      Ventilation: It can provide adequate ventilation space to cool the air and ensure the system operates within the operating temperature range;
      Vibration: Additional shock absorbers can be added if necessary, to avoid damage caused by violent vibration;
      Wire: The wire at the installation equipment should be spaced sufficiently apart to ensure that the wire is not bent or electrical leakage due to vibration;
      Passageway: Ensure that passengers or drivers are not allowed to interfere and damage system parts, wire and other accessories, and do not install the system near other restricted vehicle components;
      Damage: When installing the system and wire, make sure that all transportation is free from sudden contact with the equipment and wire.
